Phil Collins fender stratocaster.

Hi guys, some years ago I picked up a fender strat from a church sale that wanted a donation to help a charity, happy to help I got the guitar, looking in the box I found a strat with the back plate saying that this guitar was presented to Phil Collins in 1990 by FY Inc and in the case was paperwork authenticating this, the scratch plate is custom made with a simple FYI logo on it, the guitar is an 88 - 89 Japanese strat, I can't seem to find any information about this or photos, does this interest anyone?

This is the guitar that was featured in the SUN newspaper, aside from that little is known about it.

 

If you have any photographs it might be of more interest..... how much did you pay for it?

Interesting, I didn't know it was in the Sun however I can't seem to find any mention of it, I will tru to upload some pictures but I am not sure how on this site.
