Listening to you on a Herc

I hope someone gets this.

Phil, I've sent 6 messages to your agent. I've had no response so I'm hoping you log into this forum.

It's not a big thing to you now, but I just wanted you to know:

I was coming back from Bosnia after 3 tours back to back (Canadian Airborne Regiment - SGT retired) Peacekeeping in 1991; We werer bugged out by an american Herc; the Flight Engineer (A hulking big black guy - 2nd Marines) asked who we were and the CFO told him we were Canadians and that we'd been through SHIT!

He plumped his ghetto blaster in the flight cabin through the flight deck and put on "I'm going Home" for us as we were loading the Herc. It was pissing rain; we'd been waiting for hours. We were finally going home! After a year and a half in the 30 years War - Modern Day we were finally going home and this marine was playing this song for us as we were loading the plane. I can't tell you what it meant to us. Some of us were literally bawling our eyes out and hugging each other. I hugged this huge Marine. I just said "Thank-you" over and over. Your song was playing to us as we left Bosnia for home.

I really hope you get this message I've tried to let you know since 1999.

Cheers! A Fan! By the way, my mum lives in Hailsham!
