Mr. Collins, I do hope you are reading these postings, as it does sound like you're having a bit of a rough time with your legacy at the moment, especially with your current physical ailments.  Rest assured you will be remembered as a core member and driving force of one of the most innovative and creative bands in rock history.  And as a solo artist, you will be remembered as providing the soundtrack to a decade.

Good luck with your recovery.  And as a newly minted "weekend warrior Dad" myself, I loved your response about appearing on Letterman that you couldn't because you have the kids on Mondays.  God bless you - that made me cry.
